šŸ“…[New Plugin] Air Calendar (FullCalendar)

Hi Sean
Figured it out. I was using the Air Date Plugin you made as well - when I removed it, the error went away. So seems like can use only one of them on an app. Cheers

The demo app uses both plugins and they both still work.

Ok - will try again. Thanks!

Hi Sean, all sorted. Seemed to be an isolated issue. Cheers

@nowfinanceoz I am getting similar errors - did you figure out what is causing it?

The plugin Air Calendar (Full Calendar) / element AirCalendar threw the following error: TypeError: b.data.fn_initializeCalendar is not a function at eval (eval at m.create_code (https://dhtiece9044ep.cloudfront.net/package/run_debug_js/6d097a00ad3f18879b018ed03544708225cbb311e65eb26b588b6a51c7c45eae/xfalse/x5:15:1897354), :17:65) at https://dhtiece9044ep.cloudfront.net/package/run_debug_js/6d097a00ad3f18879b018ed03544708225cbb311e65eb26b588b6a51c7c45eae/xfalse/x5:15:1920494 (please report this to the plugin author)

This was working so I am guessing this is a Bubble change issue not a plugin issue as the plugin hasnā€™t been updated.

If that is the case this is another Bubble push without any notification!

Hi @simon, please can you file a bug report to Bubble?

Yep will do have raised on the bugs in the forum just to see if they bite, if not will send them an email. Thanks

@seanhoots @nowfinanceoz I figured out what causes the error! If you have the AirDate/TimePicker & Air Calendar in the same group or popup you get the error. If you move the AirDate/TimePicker out it works fine.

Weird one - Sean I guess you would better understand why that might be.

Simon

I still have a page that make the popup under a reusable element for no apparent reason, maybe relatedā€¦ it happened 3-4 days agoā€¦

Update

It looks like even if itā€™s not in the same group but in the same popup but different group within the popup you get the same error.

If you use the standard bubble date picker with the Air Calendar it works fine.

So I am not sure what changed because AirDate/TimePicker & Air Calendar were working fine together until earlier this week. Bubble claims no changes, no plugin updates so how come its stopped working??? Something has changed!

Anyone else seen this error?

Simon

Mine works perfectly fine. Are you sure you never made any changes?

Maybe related to what it took me hours to discovered due to recent changes, and fixing it took seconds. All kind of inputs (dropdown too), having the option ā€˜this input should not be emptyā€™ was causing an error and stopping all workflows.

So you have probably an internal error. It will take some time to found where it is.

Hmm I did move it all into a popup so maybe its an issue with the popup, I will move it back to test.

Yep so if they are on a page in different groups they work fine together, if they are in the same group or in any kind of popup you get the error.

Hi @seanhoots

I have a few questions about your plugin features:

  • Is it possible to directly display all the events, without having to click on the ā€˜+ more eventsā€™ (and instead adapt the height of the row)?

  • Is there a way to customize the height of the events strips?

  • Similarly to the drag and drop option, does the resize option enable to directly widen or shrink the events? If so, I didnā€™t manage to do it in the demo page.

  • Can we use the plugin without referring to hours but only to events days?

Thanks!

@recrutbox

Yes you can specify a large number for the event limit so that all the events will always show.
The height will adapt up to a certain limit.

You will have to do this through CSS.

Yes thatā€™s what the resize is supposed to do. You resize the event by moving up or down the end of the event.
Note that you canā€™t resize horizontally obviously since an event has to be a continuous time unless for an all day event. So in the month view you can drag horizontally to create mult-day all day events. But in the day and week view you will have to resize vertically.

Not sure what you mean by this. Can you please explain further.

Thanks for your reply @seanhoots

As Iā€™m only interested in the month view, Iā€™m looking to resize the events horizontally (like in the demo of the zeroqode Drag-n-Drop Calendar, that enables to directly edit the slot).
I still didnā€™t find how to drag horizontally as you mentioned it.

Iā€™ll try to clarify what I mean: in the calendar I want to build, the events will cover one or multiple days, without any time specification. So, the user will have to fill in the date, in terms of days only, with no reference to the hours of the day. Therefore, I wanted to know if there is an option to disable the consideration of the ā€œtime parameterā€.

A different error today, is it just me who is constantly getting errors?

@seanhoots any insight into what maybe causing these " ā€˜yearsā€™ of null "
