Hi @bryan8, one more update has been pushed, and this time it might help you with your case.
We added a new action, that allows to pass HTML to .docx.
It is currently supporting a major variety of HTML tags to be rendered in docx format attributes
There may be bugs with custom tags or complex HTML documents, but for some simple usage, this is perfect.
See demo and demo editor for a setup example.
I have updated the plugin and I have used new text to HTML editor as well. But still my doc doesn’t retrieve the information i want as a document. Could you please provide an assistance for me?
To better understand your case, please share (here or in DM) a screencast or screenshots of the plugin actions setup and use case flow.
This will allow us to provide the required support much faster.
This is a great update.
The only issue I’m having is that the paragraph tag is getting ignored.
It seems to inherit whatever tag was above it…in this case an H3
Hi @bryan8 and @drtom, thanks for reply and shared details.
Passed them to the devs. Once any feedback will appear, we will let you know as soon as possible.
Our suppose is that in this case the document formatting was done wrong before generating the Word document.
Please see and compare with the setup on the demo page, where we also used h3 and paragraph, and both are rendered properly:
Please be sure that you didn’t miss putting the converting BBCode to HTML action first. It might be possible that you are trying to generate the document straight from BBCode.
For a workable setup example, please see our demo editor page: Rapidevplugins2 | Bubble Editor
Hope these answers help. If any issues persist or there are any plugin-related questions, please let us know and share more details about the used plugin actions setup, flow and logic.
Hi @drtom, thank you for your reply and shared documents.
For a better understanding, please also share (here or in DM) the plugin actions setup within the workflow. This will allow us to provide the required support much faster.
Hi - this plugin is throwing an error so I’m wondering if you’re still maintaining it. The error is attached and is present on your demo as well as my installation. Thanks, T
Yep, we support our plugin and currently, developers are checking what happened to the library that we are using within the plugin.
Once we fix this, we will let you know in this thread as soon as possible.
Hi @toffor, thanks for your patience.
We pushed a fix for our plugin, so all included actions should work properly. To try it out, please update the plugin on your end.
Please note that due to the recent update of the converting libraries in Chromium-based browsers, the output file of the HTML to docx. action can be opened only in MS Word. The developer team will keep an eye on that, but currently, this is the only solution we can provide.
If there is anything else that we can help with about our plugin - please let us know
