Hi everyone,
I just released Simple Phone Formatter. It takes a raw Phone Number and a Country Dial Code, then instantly gives you the formatted versions you need for your UI or your API calls.
What’s inside?
The plugin outputs four useful states:
Formatted Number: National format for local display (e.g., (555) 123-4567).
International Format: Full international version with proper spacing (e.g., +1 555 123 4567).
E164 Format: The standard “+” followed by numbers only—perfect for Twilio, Stripe, and other APIs.
Is Valid: A simple yes/no check to tell you if the number is legally valid for that country.
Key Features:
Instant Feedback: It formats manually as the user types, so there is zero lag in your UI.
Auto-Cleaning: Automatically strips away spaces, letters, or symbols from the input for you.
Reliable Validation: Uses the standard libphonenumber logic to verify numbers.
No “Null” Values: Initialized to stay empty on page load instead of showing “null” or error text.
