Option to choose 24h time (military time) in calendar

Right now its only possible to show AM/PM time in the calendar plugin.
That doesnt look very good to users in places with 24-hour format.

And also while we’re at it, every event is now displayed with a small time caption, and there is no way to remove it. To be able to remove this would be great.
