Performance on Android - WOW!

I read by chance yesterday that a performance update was made… and wow guys! Now my Android app is finally the same as iOS! Opening time about 2.5 seconds (I have a connection that is a bit slow this morning, but we should be there!

With the penultimate update the time had dropped from about 18 seconds to 8…

Thank you for the work you do!

UPDATE: Actually I found some small speed improvements even in iOS.. but what is surprising is Android! Finally!

I will check mine, thanks for the heads up.

Yes.. in fact it would be useful to have a record of implementations.. I know that many were in a fass for performance in Android, (including me, but there were also people who took a minute to open the app). If there was a clear record of the implementations we would all be informed in real time of the improvements that are being made :). @fede.bubble

Hey sorry, this is my bad for not posting an update. Glad you are seeing improvements!

Hey! Just out of curiosity, are you referring to your app running on Bubble Go or the version deployed on the Play Store?

I’ve downloaded a few Bubble-made apps from the Play Store recently, and I noticed long loading times — both at startup and when displaying certain elements. On Bubble Go, things do seem smoother, so I’m really hoping performance keeps improving for deployed versions too!

Thanks for sharing your update — it’s good to know there’s progress!

Hi! We are talking about versions deployed on the stores.. I’ve never had any problems with Apple actually. I released my apps on the stores in March, when there wasn’t much progress yet.

The loading times were about 5 seconds for iOS and 18/20 for Android. (I’m always talking about distributed versions).

Things have gone by little, obviously improving the more apps we put on the market and the more checkpoints they have to understand the causes of slowdown.

Now I’m also super satisfied with the internal fluidity between the pages and the general loading speed. I’m sure that more updates will come, but that way I can already consider myself satisfied, not to mention my users!

I have no idea what happens on Bubble Go. But in March I tested for iOS and the loading times were identical both on Bubble Go and when I deployed to the store.

I hope it can help..
