Hi everyone - over the past few weeks, the team has been hard at work investigating reports of poor app loading performance. Like you, we felt these loading times were unacceptable. We’ve identified a few areas of optimization and have been releasing rolling updates that incorporate those performance improvements. The largest of these went out earlier this week.
If you haven’t deployed a new build on your app in a while, especially in the past few days, we recommend doing one soon and testing your app load performance - you should notice a massive difference!
That being said, there are a few optimizations that we are making that should bring app loading times to 5 seconds or below. If you are still noticing poor app loading performance on your app after performing a new build, please submit a bug report so we can investigate further. Thank you all for your patience!
I’ve noticed a fantastic improvement with the instant loading of tab icons and icons overall. When opening apps previously, they took about a second to load. Amazing work!
I also appreciate the recent enhancements to the vertical list view, especially how conditions now work smoothly within lists. Before, updating lists caused some blinking with elements hidden by conditions, and that’s much better now.
However, I’ve observed that images in the list still occasionally blink during updates, though it’s less frequent than before.

I can attest to this. My Android app used to take 25-30sec to load from the splash screen. After this update, it’s now 8-10sec. Still long…but hey, I gotta give credit to the team for bring us this far. At least we can now launch our MVP, and just tell users that “we” are working to get it under 5sec like iOS.

Im facing issues with the app store bc the reviewers cant get past the loading screen…
it must be taking an insanely long time to load the app even though its relatively small… (I personally can’t recreate the issue and it loads within about 3 seconds for me)
