Do hidden popups/group focus affect the page load?
Are they loading on the backend at a page load when they are invisible?
I suspect that every page load Bubble goes to an app’s files and page load depends on the size of those files. Are hidden elements included in those files?
Page hidden groups do not get loaded. Popups and all of their elements do.
Any proofs?

I suggest you create a blank app and create a hundred groups and watch the download time. Normally, if groups are used in searches when opening the application, they will be used.
