I’m fairly new to Bubble (first time posting on the forum) and I’m not sure if this is a bug or not. Spontaneously it seems, there is a large white space at the bottom of my page in both the development version and live version.
I have scoured the editor and there are no groups lurking there that I forgot to collapse or anything else that could be in the space. I even deployed a previous version of the app to “live” that I’m positive had no white space and there is still phantom white space showing up (albeit, smaller in height). It’s not on any other pages in the app.
My best guess is that something was updated behind the scenes in Bubble that maybe led to a bug with a plugin that I have installed (again, I’m pretty new to Bubble, I don’t totally know how that works). Does anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot this other than systematically going through my plugins?
The issue seems to be caused by Group Focus elements that aren’t being properly hidden. The white space ceases when I delete the group focus elements from the page.
That’s what I discovered as well after sequentially deleting elements from the page. In my case, additional space was caused by a hidden reusable element in a floating group.
So far I’ve been able to create a new group focus without apparent problems, but not so with the reusable element.
I’ve seen on other threads that sometimes unexpected white space can be caused by overlapping elements, but I’m using the responsive engine and everything is stacked with appropriate spacing
Any idea why this would suddenly become a problem?
