Photoshop and Bubble

Hi all

I am considering making a mobile app (Progressive Web Application) through Bubble and have a question regarding the designing of it.

What I have found so far in the forum is that it is not possible to directly import design from Photoshop to Bubble.

But, how possible would it be to hire a designer that designs an app in ex. Photoshop and then somebody indirectly copying the design from Photoshop to Bubble by using the different elements under “Design”?

Which problems could I possibly face? And is there another way to do it other than that if I wish to hire a designer?

And if anybody have tried doing so before, I would like to hear about your experience with it.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to bubble!

I think the best thing to do is find a bubble developer that can design what you are asking for as well as develop the app for you. When hiring a bubble developer make sure to preview their previous work to see how their designs look and you can get a good idea of what they are capable of.

You don’t necessarily need to hire a designer separately. Some bubble developers are very good at design. Also, I am sure the bubble agencies can accommodate your request at a little bit higher price. Sometimes you just get what you pay for.

Hope that helps.

Very possible! I design in Sketch and Photoshop all the time. They both have pretty solid asset export options. For example, you can easily export icons in your designs to SVG/PNG files and import these as images in Bubble. Works fine!

But, as said above, designing in Bubble directly will save you some time/money. Bubble also has it’s design limitations, so to prevent any surprises it also makes sense to directly start designing in Bubble.

Cheers!
