Thank you @sam8 for this super easy plugin. I can get it to work without issues but have a couple of suggestions:
Please consider enabling the on-screen controls or have an option to do that
Once you have drawn a video call window on the screen, on page load Safari asks for camera and microphone permissions regardless of whether or not the screen is visible. And the light remains on even after ending the call. Ideal behaviour is ask permission only when the screen is displayed and the video light should come off on hanging up the call.
I notice you have not responded to messages here for a while. Please would someone from @bubble.io1 take this up and consider updating this very useful plugin?
@sam8 this is brilliant t- thanks - do you have an option where one person can record a video eg for a video based profile. The ziggeo option is cool but its not a great ux. Looking for something a bit nicer.
Hello, did someone could actually make properly integrate this plugin and make it work out, so that several participants can share their video/audio within one room?
I have configured the API and I’m able to create the rooms with unqiue ID’s, however I’m not able to connect 2 participants to one room. According to the twillo docs, I need to create an publish tracks of the participants to make it work, but neither of those actions are provided by the plugin. → PublishedTrack - Twilio
I’m really curious if someone actually have this plugin up and running, who could share on how to set it up correctly to enable a room having 2 or more participants sharing their video/audio.
Hi all, has anyone managed to get this plugin to work? I managed to make it work when 2 participants join the same room, but as soon as a third one tries to enter the meeting, the first participant’s window becomes empty (not the room creator’s window).
Sorry I didn’t go very far with this plugin. I ended up using the Agora plugin from Zeroqode as it had more events and actions. Plus it was more flexible overall and especially with the remote and local video views. They also continue to add more features to it as well.
I am trying to use this plugin to allow coaches to do video sessions with multiple users.
The big problem so far is that I managed to share the screen with everyone but the size of the shared screens is the same for everyone. Is it possible for a user to set the main screen for the coach (in full screen mode) and enable/disable the other screens or allow up to 4 screen inside the video chat like zoom? I don’t see anything in the plugin to manage it.
Unfortunately not, at least not without some coding or API work. In the past we built custom integration with Vonage that has a custom layout for teachers setup by default
Hi @AliFarahat . After all, I’m continuing using this plugin. I just have a problem, if I have more than 2 users with the display? I have some problem with the display. The screen (on mobile) can be divide by 2 with the same users on the both side. Also, there is a gap between screen that may let think that one user is not displaying, but he is. He is just below and the video chat cannot be scroll (I’m using a pop to make the video run).
it’s a bit bugged (the plugin is) but was able to make this without writing anything to the DB, but rather use Twilio as “backend” https://bit.ly/3bt703O
anyone found a way to make it work reliably?
is anyone using this plugin in 2022? It didnt work form me at all. It seems like no connection. I just seen video of myself (preview). I would appreciate if someone could share their demo app
