I’m having a problem with Bubble’s Rich Text Editor plugin, so I’m posting here to see if anyone can help me.
After saving the record where I used the component, even when executing the Reset a Rich Text Input action, when I enter another record, if the user does not edit the field that has the component, it records the information from the previous record.
It’s as if it records the information in a “buffer” and if the field is not edited, it takes this information from the “buffer” and uses it to store it in the registry, even though I don’t edit anything!
Has anyone experienced this situation with this component and managed to resolve it?
That is a bug that has been known by Bubble for I think about 3 years or more now. I don’t recall it ever getting fixed, but perhaps, maybe, there is a chance, they had, and the bug crept back in. Maybe submit a bug report.
One thing to check is that your initial content is not set to a field that is getting changed by the element.
One thing to try is put it into a group and then instead of reset input, do a reset group data.
