Is there a good plugin that you would recommend for cropping pics in a custom format and compression before saving to Bubble database?
Process with imagix
I really like it but does it compress and crop? I am expecting a 1000s of pics to be uploaded so trying to optimize before saving.
Thanks @chris.williamson1996. Sorry but I am new new to image processing and bubble. Would you please show me a screenshot on backend workflow that one would use?
All I see on this forum is uploadcare plugin.
This is already built in by bubble no plugins needed.
When you create a new thing like a image to a database record attached the :processed with imagix tail
This is not an inbuilt plugin, you have to go and install it and it even has a fee attached to it.
Imgix is prebuilt into bubble…
@chris.williamson1996 based on my use of imagix and the screenshot you shared, it displays an already stored pic in a particular format. It doesn’t manipulate the image before storage.
You can save an image after processed with imagix when creating the new thing
Ok. This is definitely new to me. Will give it a try.
I’m using the “image compressor” plugin which is very efficient, along with the “image cropper” plugin. For this last plugin, the cropping action is manual (you crop the image as you want), not sure you can set a default crop size.
Thanks for the recommendation @Christophe_HK. Are you storing in Bubble?
Yes, the cropped compressed images are stored in Bubble
