Repeating Group Row Bug (?)

Hi Forum,

I’ve been trying the new responsive engine and everything seemed intuitive until yesterday. RGs seem to be the hardest thing for me. Right now I have a RG with a row layout, with a number of row- and column layout groups within it.

Not a single group currently has conditions or workflows attached - except sort functions on the RG. And the RG is set up like this:

The cell group is set up like such:

The row group - text with the heart icon but without image - set up like this:

Lastly, the text column group like this:

But here comes the problem: It constantly ‘glitches’. Hard to explain so I recorded a screenrecording: https://youtu.be/FqxF3HfenMg

I am genuinely confused why this is happening and cannot figure it out.

I’ve had this a couple of times in the early versions of the new engine. Sometimes it would go away with a refresh, but I’m guessing you’ve tried this before.

Some random ideas I would try:

  • Try removing some of the width or height constraints and see if one of the fixes. My hunch is that there’s one of those percentages is conflicting with another one. Specially if you set a group at 100% and it has margins on it. Or even borders. Maybe there’s a funky sharp edge there somewhere.
  • Zooming the editor?

The refresh usually works for me, but this doesn’t affect the live version?

Not that once I publish the application with this going on in the editor that visitors get seizures from these shaking elements.

try deleting group after group to determine which group is causing the issue. Then when found, start debugging.

:laughing: Does it also happen in the application? Your video only showed the editor so I assumed that it was an editor-only issue.
