I am setting up our Forgot Password function. However, reset password function is asking for the old password, which is already lost hence the forgot feature function. Can this go straight to creation of new password, or does it actually have to go through temporary password?

Setting a temporary password is the way to go.
You can add text: Forgot Password.
OnClick send a reset password email. This way user is redirected to Bubble native Password Reset page that doesn’t require old pass.

P.S. do not forget to fix the ux accordingly. When user clicks on Forget Pass you have to display the Email input field and all that stuff…
How will the workflow be swt so that the system will know which user is being requested for the function “forgot password”
