Rich Text Editor pluggin - all input cleared when input exceeds height of the element

When I enter text and the length of the input exceeds the height of the element, all input is cleared.

Is this a known bug? Is there anything I can do to stop this happening?

Expected behaviour: if length of input exceeds height of the rich text element, the element should show a scroll bar, so that the user can continue typing and scroll down to see their input. All input should not be cleared automatically.

You can stop this happening by unchecking '‘Extend to fit’.

I get the same behavior when that is checked. I assume its not meant to happen!

It’s a known bug. I have a bug report in now with the team. There are a few other issues with the rich text editor that they are addressing.
