Safari suddenly can't find server for custom domain (no issues on Chrome or other browsers)

Is anyone else seeing issues with this today? I haven’t made any changes to my bubble app or DNS settings but suddenly today, Safari is sporadically failing to be able to locate my bubble app (on a custom subdomain, for context).

Chrome is having no issues, just Safari, but it’s happening for me and multiple users. I’ve reported a bug as well but the specialist team is only available during business days, so curious if anyone else is seeing similar issues to help debug the problem

Safari just has compatibility issues in general. I advise all users of my enterprise apps to not use Safari.

I’ve had to rectify a lot of issues for Safari… IMO the time spent tracking the issues are just not worth it unless the page is for the general public.

This is still cropping up and its not just Safari. Randomly will be unable to resolve the server for a few minutes at a time (today it happened from 7:00-7:03pm PT).

There has been slow loading and degraded performance generally as well, can we get any sort of confirmation that someone from the bubble team is looking at these issues? @fede.bubble any indications of broader system issues?

let me ask around and find out

btw @rome1 did you submit all the details in that bug report? Like what error message you are getting, screenshots, etc?

Yeah I added what I could find to the bug report, although there’s not much to go off of. It’s just a simple “can’t find the server” error message.

There were no issues with Cloudflare or my domain registrar (Porkbun) during the timeframes, and the issue was only with my app’s subdomain that points to bubble. Our marketing site stayed up on the root domain during those flare ups

Has your issue been resolved?

Doesn’t appear to be a bubble issue, somehow Comcast is having issues with DNS caching related to my sites (how that even happens is beyond me…). Still working to resolve the problem but at least I know the area to poke in
