I have seen questions regarding School Management System. I think those questions were not answered ? So meaning bubble is not designed for this type of application? where thousands of students and including parents can login well maybe at the same time to check their records. Will the bubble app suffer any slow performance on this type of scenario and I guess it is not only applicable to School Management system right? E-commerce too , even millions can login at the same time.
Can it handle thousands logged in at the same time?
Yes.
Millions? Probably not at the same time.
The only consideration will be cost. But if you have a system where thousands of people are using it at the same time you should be able to pay a few hundred a month to keep it up.
You should be able to answer your question based on the size and architecture of your application
As an example,
If you have one school with 10K students I think Bubble can handle them
But what about if you have 20 schools subscribed to your system?
At this time, you have 10K*20=200K students which I think bubble can also handle with some conditions and high technical direct support
But what about if you have 100 schools subscribe
I believe when you grow your system to this level
You should change your strategy and hire a highly professional team to answer your question

You can sub-app your system if you end up having mass users, but your idea is completely doable. For an app with thousands of users, Bubble can 100% handle it.
If you end up with millions of records, you can keep your data and run your calculations in your own external backend and then just call the numbers into your bubble app via a GET call. It’s a relatively easy process since students only view their grades and can’t change them.
