(1 letter short shows all the results)
(When the first word is complete, it doesn’t show any results)
I deployed recently and some searchbox that were working now show this error

This looks like a text normalisation issue, not the Searchbox itself.
Most likely, the field being searched has accents, spacing, or formatting differences, so partial text matches, but the full word fails. The usual fix is to create a separate normalised search field (lowercase, trimmed, no extra spaces, ideally no accents) and point the Searchbox to that field, while keeping the original field just for display.
Also worth checking if it only happens on live, because privacy rules or live data formatting can cause this too.
Search box always a little finicky. I made a plugin for an update search dropdown if you would want it! Just dm me your app id and I can it approved!
It’s definitely bugged.
When typing in a name search, especially surnames, the list disappears. To see the results, you only need to enter the first three letters. If the full name is typed or a second name is added, the list disappears again.
As can be observed, to display the options, it is only necessary to type the first 3 or 4 letters, such as “fran”. In this way, the list appears normally for selection.
However, when typing the full name, such as “francisco”, no options are displayed and the list disappears.
This is the main difference between images 1 and 2: in the first, with partial typing, the results are shown; in the second, with the full name, the list is not presented.

This wasn’t happening before; this is a recent error, also reported here, awaiting resolution.

We also got a problem with searchbox.
Stopped searching for records that started with OR… All others work.

Same issue here. We found that if you add a new search box element, the search starts working normally again, just like before.
