Self-Serve Invoice Tool

Hey everyone, Khotso here! A fellow freelancer in the trenches, I’ve been building something I think can be a game-changer for our invoicing woes: Paystreak.io (built with Bubble, of course!).

You know the struggle – crafting invoices takes forever, chasing payments feels like a full-time job, and client portals are more confusing than helpful.

Paystreak aims to cut through the mess! Imagine:

  1. Effortless Invoice Creation: Stunning templates, easy edits – invoices in seconds, not hours!

  2. Client Self-Serve Portal: Empower your clients with easy access and updates – no more endless email chains!

  3. . Automated Payment Reminders: Gentle nudges so you never miss a payment again. (Seriously, no more awkward conversations!)

  4. . Data-Driven Insights (Coming Soon!): Gain valuable intel on your income, expenses, and trends to make smarter business decisions.

But here’s the thing… I’m still in the early stages, and I need your honest feedback! This isn’t a sales pitch, it’s a call to action for fellow freelancers.

Here’s how you can help:

Test the MVP: (Link: [Paystreak | Empowering Freelancers and Entrepreneurs with Effortless Invoicing])

Be Brutally Honest: What features are missing? Is the interface user-friendly? Does it actually make your life easier?
Brainstorm with Me: Let’s chat about how Paystreak can become the ultimate invoicing companion for freelancers and Solopreneurs everywhere!

The Bubble community is amazing, and your insights are crucial in shaping Paystreak.io. Let’s build something awesome together!

Looking forward to your thoughts and the conversation!

Thanks. It was actually just an explore. And yes the live link doesn’t work because I need to get a few testing done before releasing the live link. Much appreciated feedback and Will take it into consideration.

Don’t accept his feedback. He was banned for trolling.

I think your app looks great. You need some changes in terms of some of your block elements to accumulate for design and responsiveness, but overall the app looks very clean and I can tell you put some time into it!

Time does not equal quality. On mobile those alerts make the user experience quite bad and it feels spammy. The styles are a bit all over. Paddings/margins are off. The home page at least on mobile (which accounts for over 80% of most websites traffic) feels broken and the scrolling box at the bottom is unfunctional. From a visitor perspective it doesn’t really inspire confidence that the product was built well and could cause doubt about the actual payment side working.

100% on the right track, right concepts, and could see it being a very good build but it needs a clean up.

Not sure why you’re attacking him for giving quality feedback with no troll comment included in it.

None of 247’s feedback is good. You must not have seen his recent posts.

Obviously OP is looking for suggestions, saying it looks cheap doesn’t mere positive feedback.

Also, when he says the live domain doesn’t work? Yeah? So? OP never said it was in production.

I beg to differ. I spend 5 hours on an app, compared to 20 hours on an app, and I can guarantee the quality will be better. This would accommodate additional responsiveness, workflow optimization, styling, and feel.

I agree

Sure, but you might spend 20 hours on a decent app and someone else might spend 5 hours on an even better app. Nothing is good solely as a function of the time dedicated to it.

For context on the trolling replies, 247bubble has been trolling a while seeking trouble and straight up just spewing racism - this comment might be a notable exception, but his account(s) will be gone by the time the US wakes up.

Thanks for the quick feedback. That’s the reason why it’s an MVP. to improve it over time based on such feedback.

Hey @chris.williamson1996 . I couldn’t appreciate your feedback any better. Much thanks. In which areas do you suggest a clean up? In the Responsive aspects or is the design also affected?

To be point-blank - I was not on my best behavior on my original reply and additional reply. I should have responded better in terms of what could be done with your issues. For that, I apologize.

This last week for me has been hell as I have had the worst toothache (I even made a random site for a dentist to try and get a free fix - that didn’t work out lol). This is not an excuse for my behavior, but wanted to give you insight of why I likely responded like that.

I extend this apology to all Bubble users as well, as I shouldn’t put words in their mouths, and I cannot speak for everyone on this forum about their time or patience with questionnaires or topics in terms of people reaching out.

Feel free to reach out via DM for some discounted coaching I can provide for you if you’re interested.

Thanks for sharing Paystreak.io! It looks like a cool option for creating invoices.

For me, though, a well-rounded invoicing solution goes beyond just sending invoices. You can check this growing platform called UniBee that not only handles invoicing but also offers an open-source billing management system. This gives a lot more flexibility and control over finances issues.

Keep going!

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve checked Unibee out and will surely include some interesting features within Paystreak.
