Set up Domain with Squarespace

Hello there,

It has been more than 24 hrs since I added the custom DNS records in Squarespace, however Bubble does not recognizes them yet. However if I use web tools like Network Tools: DNS,IP,Email the records show correctly.

Is there something I’m missing?

Try using only ONE record for @ and www

Thank you, however it didn’t work. I tried the 4 possible combinations and neither worked. However as I highlited, bubble does recognize the records because the value in the error message changed every time I changed the records on Squarespace.

Is it possible that it is a bubble/cloudfare thing?

r u using cloudflare with your domain?
It should be very straightforward, and should not take more than 10 minutes to setup, i personally set up hundreds and none had any issues
make sure your TTL is as minimum as possible

Uhm it is the default config for a squarespace domain, I mentioned cloudflare because they’re bubble’s provider I think. Maybe I’ll try transfering the domain to other provider.

Just use cloudflare as your DNS provider

Yup, I made a free account on cloudflare with my current domain and followed this steps (for anyone looking for the solution):

• After having the account with cloudflare, change the nameservers given by cloudflare into squarespace
• Add the A records into cloudflare without proxy

Thats the basic config to get it working.
