On the page load, I set a state with a list of texts. It seems that this workflow stops everything on the site and never stops running. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you solve it? I don’t believe there is a way I can get around this problem.

Not 100% sure, but I think this is a bug. I just tried by creating a list of texts custom state, and setting the state on page load as well, but looks like the state never gets set, as you said (even after waiting a while). Probably best to file a bug report on this if you can!
