Setting color based on text input

So I have three statuses Active, Inactive, LOA.

I want the background color of the status box to change based on their status
Ex When Active, the background is green
When LOA, the background is orange
When Inactive, the background is red

Ive tried several conditions but give up.

Hi there, @toddpechin12344… here is an example that uses an option set for the statuses and a text element to show the current user’s status.

Did you try something like that? (You would add additional conditions for the other statuses, of course.)

When I add all of the other options it changes up randomly. For Inactive it keeps appearing green.

That sounds odd… can you share some screenshots?

My stupidity mike, I set both the green and red as “Inactive” the solution worked!
