[SOLVED]Customize Map Marker Caption?

Hi,

is there a way to customize the map marker caption? instead of only showing text? because i tried to show image but its showing the image url not the image itself.

No, it is text only.

But you can make a popup appear when the marker is clicked, and show an image in that.

hi nigel thanks for your response… how can i do that? because i only see is the data source option like data source is users all current marker will be the user fields

what i want is when marker is click it will show the user info like profile photo, name, location and link or button profile page when click it will direct them to profile page i managed to show the photo but i did it by just making the customized icon “data depended” and point it to profile photo

ok i think i got it i saw a workflow when element is clicked and there’s a map marker :slight_smile:

@NigelG i would like to follow up on this one, i successfully did what you told me but it only showing single user profile only what i mean is yes it has multiple markers but all markers shows same user profile

what i did in the workflow

  1. when map marker is clicked display data of users
  2. data to display (search for users:firstitem) i can’t make only search for users i need to add an extension
  3. Show Popup User Info

i can only do search because there’s no option to display data data to display is current cell’s user since the popup is not inside an RG

can you tell me what’s supposed to be the correct setup?

In your workflow, you can add in a step that “displays” the current marker in the popup.

So “This Map’s Current Marker’s User” (or whatever it the markers show).

Then in the popup you set the Type Of Content. Then you can use “Parent’s User” to show the data of the marker you clicked.

thanks alot it works like a charm :slight_smile:

but the only thing is i set the data source of the popup to current page users instead of the type of content because that options only shows all the DataTypes that i created.
