Sort repeating group by date range functionality

I have a repeating group with a date range as one of the fields. When i go to my repeating group options there is no way to sort it by the start date of the date range.

This would be a useful and simple feature to add

Yes, this is incredibly frustrating, seems like an obviously missing feature. Sort by :start or :end of a date range.
