Stripe.js - The most powerful payments plugin for Bubble. šŸ’³

We appreciate the feedback @knocode!

There are certain processes and limitations that are out of our control. If we could avoid breaking applications when totally rebuilding a plugin, we totally would! Stripe is not the easiest platform to master, there’s tons of moving pieces with nested moving pieces, periodic changes including massive shifts (like the one we’ve seen these past few months), and then there’s Bubble’s own plugin development structure that also evolves over time. As a result, maintaining a documentation is difficult and less than manageable. We have taken steps to include in-field documentation which all of our Beta users greatly appreciated. In all cases, Stripe’s documentation is and will always be the best resource for implementing Stripe. Our plugin’s open availability is our contribution to Bubble and like with any dependency such as a plugin or a third-party service, should be evaluated and scrutinized independently and specific to your use case before adoption.

We can’t satisfy every Bubbler, but we’re confident most will find Stripe.js 2 and Platform Payments 2 to be the best upgrades to their applications since our original release - and that’s good enough for us. :slightly_smiling_face:

That’s exactly what I’ve been talking about here Bubble should regulate their templates and plugins

That is understandable.

Welp, I’m sure you’re all doing your best, so once again thank you for all of the hard work.

Just a question, Version 1.8.10 wont be going away anytime soon will it?

@knocode You can always access older versions of Bubble plugins. :+1:

Hi all,

Anyone using the latest version of Stripe JS plugin ? I figured out the paymentintent creation part and selected confirm charge. i can get the PaymentID but not the ChargeId from the plugin. What should I do so that i can get the charge ID?

I tried to change Confirm=no in the previous payment intent-create action, and do a separate confirm action:

However, i got the following error.

It’s quite hard to debug without documentation so i hope someone will be able to advise!

Hey @loh.cher.e,

Please file a bug report so we can take a look. This thread, as noted more than several times, is not the place for posting issues. :+1:

Hey @aliukuki,

This thread is for updates. Please create your own post!

@copilot Am I wrong that you guys stated that anyone who already purchased platform payments 1 would automatically have access to platform payments 2?

I’m also seeing a ā€œPurchaseā€ button on the course page at the moment and I have already purchased platform payments 1. I hope this is temporary.

Hey @mihira,

You will be upgraded to Platform Payments 2 at no-cost if you purchased the original Platform Payments course prior to the introduction of Version 1.9.x so you should be all set.

I purchased the Platform Payments 1 but it is an old version, could it be possible to be upgraded to the Platform Payments 2 when it is ready ?

When will the Platform Payments 2 course be released? @copilot

Hi @sanjuujosephh,

We’d keep an eye out over the following week or so.

Waiting for your course Platform Payments 2

Many have started from the videos we’ve been regularly pushing right on the course page. :+1:

@copilot I’m still seeing a Purchase button and do not have access to the videos beyond the previews.

FYI I purchased Platform Payments 1 mid to late last year not knowing it was out of date.

Hi @mihira.

Since the course isn’t quite there yet, we haven’t yet issued the course attributions. As mentioned above including a response to your previous post, those who purchased the Platform Payments course prior to the introduction of Version 1.9.x will be upgraded at no-cost. :+1:

Ok thanks. I was just concerned because I could see the 35 videos on the page (wow!) and also at the time I purchased you had released version 1.9.20 - 1.9.30 I think.

Is the course fully released? The description says sneak peek?
