Hey guys,
I have a data field ‘movie’ with a field called ‘‘tags’’ (a list of texts) with several 100 entries and I have (or want to) create a tagging system.
Database EX: ‘Movie’: ‘‘list of tags’’
Movie A: Blue, Yellow
Movie B: Blue
Movie C: Yellow
Movie D: Green
There is a movie page with page type ‘movie’ which displays information based on the unique id of the movie. In this page there is a repeating group labelled ‘related movies’.
The way I want this to work is:
Current page’s Movie = Movie A
Movie A tags = Blue, Yellow
Display in repeating group all movies with tags Blue or Yellow or Both
So in this example:
Movie A: Blue, Yellow
Movie B: Blue
Movie C: Yellow
Movie D: Green
Movie A(technically, but will be filtered out) Movie B and Movie C
Here is how far I have gotten, what is the right condition?

Hi @fredrikgotmail
Looking into what you are doing, I would suggest you to change one thing in your expression:
Look that you already are Searching for Movies as your RG’s Source. So in your advanced filter, you just need to filter the movies that have, at least, one similar tag of the Current Page’s Movie.
So, in your Advanced Search replace the “Search for movie” for “Current Page’s Movie Tags”
Hope it helps!
Thank you for the help! Really appreciate it if you could help me understand why It’s still not quite doing the right thing.
I’ve tried it, and the result with the following database are
Movie A: Blue, Yellow, Red
Movie B: Blue
Movie C: Blue, Yellow
Movie D: Green
Movie E: Green
Movie A Page: only shows Movie A
Movie B Page: Shows Movie B and Movie C
Movie C Page: Shows Movie B and Movie C
Movie D Page: Shows Movie D and Movie E
Movie E Page: Shows Movie D and Movie E
I don’t understand why:
- Movie A won’t show up for Movies B and Movie C
- Movie B and Movie C don’t show up for Movie A
Can you show us how you are doing your Search?
