I started building an app and wanted to change the name of the app, so I copy (cloned) it into a new app with my desired name then continued to do 6+ hours of work editing the new app copy. On the original app, I paid $12 for a lifetime license for a plugin, but it looks like the new app doesn’t have permission to use the plugin. Am I either going to have to pay the $12 again or else revert back to my original app with the wrong name? I know the app name isn’t seen by end-users once you connect a domain, but it still bugs me that I can’t do something as simple as renaming an app…
Bumping this. Someone please answer the man because I would like to know the answer as well
Same question. For an existing app I just bought a plugin and a template at the same time, unaware you can’t apply a template to a new app. Is there any way for me to have the template and the plugin in the same app now or am I stuck with copying the entire template into the old app ?
Plugin license is for an app. If you clone an app, this became a new one and you need to pay the license for this app. You can try to ask Bubble support to see if they can do something for you.
Yeah, to keep this topic up-to-date :
I contacted bubble support about this, and a plugin license cannot be transferred from one app to another. They might issue refunds in edge cases like mine where the plugin was attached to the wrong app by mistake.
