Trigger workflow when state changes

Hey, I found a great solution from 2021 to trigger a workflow when a state changes : Can I trigger a workflow anytime a custom state changes?

It works, but I’m just wondering if there has not been an update since 2021 that I missed and that would allow to get the same result in a less “hacky” way.

I believe the most straightforward way is that when you run the workflow action to change the custom state value, the next workflow action would be to run the actions you want to run…if you already have those actions in a custom workflow trigger, then you could after running action to change custom state value, trigger the custom workflow
