Turning Yellow to Blue

I’ve noticed more and more recently that sometimes I am unable to simply complete a dynamic expression (so that it turns blue). Clicking off it doesn’t do anything. Pressing enter or return doesn’t ‘accept’ it. I am on Mac. Am i missing something very obvious?

For example, in the below image only pressing “close” then reopening it would allow me to see the blue version:

On this note, in general, I notice there are so many mouse-clicks in bubble that simply do not register. It happens so often that I think many of us has just got used to it and our brains have filtered it out, but it would make bubble feel much less clunky if those extra mouse clicks were not needed.

I noticed this too. I thought it was a Chrome or computer issue… many of my expressions no longer turn blue. I have to click outside the expression box to check if the code is valid…

I’ve noticed this also.

Something else kind of along the same lines…

recently (maybe a couple of weeks), when I click to build an expression, the dropdown menu is rendering above the field instead of below. I sometimes have to close it and drag the expression editor down and then click again.

Just a minor thing, but I wondered what changed to cause this:

Same here…

Another thing that happens to me (and that I just remembered) is that sometimes I want to introduce a variable stored in some custom state, and Bubble doesn’t show me the object in the list of dynamic options. I need to refresh the page for the object to appear in the list of possible selectable options…
