Unexistent 404 pages are being indexed by Google Search Console

Hi everyone,

As we launched our site and connected Google Analytics, MS Clarity to better understand the user behavior & enhance our SEO, we are observing strange problems shown in Google Search Console.

Currently, we have a lot of ‘404’ pages that are somehow being indexed by Google but which do not exist. Here are a few of those:

Here is the current list of pages:

The question is, why did Google mark the non-existent pages as ‘problematic’ ones?
Among all of the pages from the first screenshot, we had only the ‘tos’ page in the past, which does not exist now. We already performed additional validation (we had like 20 problems), and 2 of them are gone now, but others remain.

Is this something common for Bubble apps? Like inner utility links or something? I can not understand where they are coming from, even though they are unreachable.

Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks in advance, and have a nice day!

You may already know this?

But you say you’re using the Google Search Console. You know you can use that to tell which page the broken links are coming from, right? Just a heads up.

The search console is sometimes hard to understand, and it seems like they change things almost daily, which makes it even harder to keep up with.

Also, did you use a template for this project? If so, some of the links could have been added by whoever built the template, and you’re overlooking them somehow

Hi,

I can see the ‘referring page’ field while trying to ‘inspect url’, but in most cases, it is just ‘none’.

The application was built manually from the ground up, so no templates were in use.

I was just wondering if this is something related to Bubble or me messing up with the configuration somewhere.
