My organization is already using Gmail to handle our company email, but to create custom emails for my bubble application that come from our domain I need to use Sendgrid.
Will signing up for sendgrid complicate my life in using Gmail as well? I’ve had trouble with email services in the past and was hoping the two can cohabitate: Sendgrid for my bubble application, an Gmail for our company email.
You’ll be fine. Easiest patch for this will be to send emails from the bubble app via sendgrid and CC or BCC your companies email in it. Also, set the reply-to address to your desired gmail account.
In my experience, CC/BCCing yourself gives you record that the email was sent. Specifying the correct reply-to address keeps the conversation going in your gmail account.
Email can get tricky. There are a lot of options. This is a simple and useful way to get an early grasp.
