Using howler js inside a repeating group

Hello

I am using a Howler within the cell of a repeating group with audio tracks with fix number of cells … play / pause with a state according to the cell track.

Upon pagination the play / pause does not function accordingly.

Thank you in advance.

Not sure how you have howler implemented, but my guess is that because Bubble dynamically loads content based on it visibility, that your subsequent pages have not loaded the audio properly.

FYI I have been working on a HowlerJS plugin that is up to date and I will be releasing it in the next few weeks.

@subtlemonsters feeling wonderful to know about your roadmap. The doc in Git says a lot but being a non-coder, am helpless … and bubble still beta, no instant opportunities for folks like me.

Yep. There is no good solution for audio in Bubble right now, which is why I’m working on Howler integration. I’m launching my app this week, so it will take a few more weeks before I can get a plugin released.

In the meantime, depending on your setup, you could just use an html audio element, which is a little is simpler to set up.

@subtlemonsters You know that there’s already a howler.js (free)plugin?

Yep, but it’s outdated and has some issues.

Yeah. @Jici . and the plugin only invites… clients to pay to move beyond… as ‘bubble’’.’’ is’ as being commissioned for using the plugin… so no/not solution … ‘in a mood’… to set something global…
