Validating Duplicate User Entries

Hi Bubblers -

I’m building a community website where users input business listing information which can then be searched by other users.

  • Business Name
  • City
  • Etc.

I want to make sure Users are not inputing Businesses and Cities that have already been added. How do I do that?

create a thing, ONLY if do a search where data fields = input values, count=0

meaning you searched for you input values and you couldn’t find them, therefore go ahead and create them
