I’ve been working on a video tutorial series for building apps to analyze videos, using Gemini Pro + Bubble. If you’re interested, here’s a link to the first video. Currently done 3/5 videos, with other two coming soon.

What kind of stuff can the video analysis do?

It’s feeding the video data to Gemini (an LLM), so you can “ask it questions”, like:

  • Tell me how many cars are in this video
  • What is this video about?
  • Are there any possums in the video?

Or tell it to count things (in the example I get it to count the number of times a basketball is passed around, in a clip from a famous psychology experiment).

I’ve had success having it identify behaviors indicative of ASD (autism spectrum disorder), and return timestamps for them.

Thank you for the ideas…sounds like the possibilities are almost endless. I’ll have to check out the video series.
