I have collapsing elements, the first two groups contain repeating groups inside a larger group. Both groups have the same conditions (collapse height when hidden, animate the collapse, and then hide or show based on menu click). The first element seems to collapse fine, the height is hidden. The second element (a copy of the first to ensure same workflow) does not collapse the height, and so can’t see the third element.
When I click to expand, the group expands, but the height isn’t hidden once I click again. I’ve double and triple checked that the checkmark is on, so it’s not that.
Any thoughts? I’ll attach photos to make it easier to visualize. The white space should hide, and once clicked the second the group expands.
Make sure that you check the collapse the elements height item on both. Hard to tell from just the screenshots you shared, but feel free to share a link to your editor in a private message and I’ll take a look.
I figured out what was wrong. I had a hidden “on-boarding” group that I used to go through and explain each element that was on the site. It was messing up the collapsing elements for some reason (still not sure why). Once I deleted that group it worked fine. Thanks @dan1 for the help!
