Workaround for horizontal padding in dropdown?

Is there a workaround for the fact that a dropdown menu doesn’t have horizontal padding? Such a bad look!

Need this too! The Input element has the horizontal padding setting , only dropdowns don’t.

Hey y’all,

A workaround would be using the HTML element, defining a custom ID for the dropdown, then use CSS to add horizontal padding. On the editor preview it won’t show added padding, but if you look at the development preview or live version it adds padding.
