I’ve experienced a workload usage spiked since yesterday when a big load of users used the website after a promotion campaign was launched. Some of the basic functions stopped working as well. Does that mean I need to upgrade to solve this issue? I’m considering about upgrading but not sure if this actually solves the problems.
Not necessarily. @Baloshi69 is right to check your WU charts and try to understand where the problem lies, and from my experience, offers for free diagnose are worth taking as they cost you nothing and may help you learn a thing or two.
Not necessarily the case here in my experience. If you are already existing all of the known methods for reducing WUs using the legacy data structure approach, you may want to consider if the use case is appropriate (most are) to use what I call the Hybrid Data Structure approach. My paid Plugin Data Jedi makes it super simple as it is NoCode. It helps to reduce WU consumption up to 95% for data fetches, and speeds up the performance in many situations by 30-50%. There are free plugins that can help do some of the things necessary, but mostly require some javascript knowledge and do not make it as easy to implement, nor do they come with all of the other powerful elements and actions the Data Jedi plugin comes with. Worth checking out for any app owner serious about their scaling their business for less costs and improved User Experience.
