When looking at WUs I can see Days for the past nearly 30 days, but for hours I can only select the last 2 days…is that a bug? I would think that if I am restricted by the last 2 days for hours, I’d be restricted to last 2 days for days as well, or if I can access the last 30 days from days, I could also access last 30 days in Hours view.
Hi @boston85719!
I did a test here, but since I don’t have a paid plan, but it’s the same as yours, I tried to edit it but the date goes back to the two pre-determined options. I wonder if this hasn’t been implemented yet, since the other options work fine, by month, week, etc. If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks.
I have a strange feeling that Bubble, on free plans, doesn’t allow you to see hour details beyond two days.
EDIT
Just looked at an app on a paid plan and it is the same thing…maybe Bubble doesn’t want us to see the details.
@fede.bubble do you know if this is expected behavior or do you suspect this might be a bug?
Look @boston85719, I want to believe that this has not been implemented yet and that it is in progress, because it makes sense to have at least this more detailed statistic, or I didn’t understand the logic they want with this. But I still believe that it is being implemented. Thank you.
I can confirm that the hours only shows for a very short period (possible 2 hours)
I had this issue when I was trying to test and log actual WU usage to figure out how best to optimize my apps…
it seems bubble does not want devs to be able to optimize applications since the WU reporting is so terrible at the granular level. it’s ok at the macro level (kind of) but the reports are really lacking if you try to drill deep into them and isolate individual WU usage at the step/element level - it’s near impossible to do this.
the only way I was able to do it was to create a fresh page (so it logged as something I could filter in the reports) and then do 1 page load for the thing I wanted to test and then wait an hour for it to show in the reports… and then try to check it before it no longer showed in the reports… was a nightmare and incredibly frustrating
This seems to be a bug based on this response from support
Thank you so much for flagging this to us. I believe this is currently affecting the WU metric charts for all app editors. I’ve just shared this with the team to see what can be done here. I’ll circle back once I receive an update, but feel free to reach out if you have any other questions in the meantime.
Hopefully a fix is in the cards for what could be done here.
