ZQ Fuzzy Search & Autocomplete - Safari/Mobile Browser Issue

Hi,

I’m using the ZQ Fuzzy Search & Autocomplete plugin. It’s been working great except safari and mobile browsers it’s not grabbing the input value. This causes the plugin to return no matches so the search does not work.

Try it out here on our website: http://organicnearby.com/

I’m not sure why this is happening. I’ve tried various methods to fix it.

Hello, @atomparish
Thanks for your request.

We have tested the Demo page of the plugin on Safari browser and from some mobile devices and the plugin is working properly.
After checking your website, we defined that the searching option works not as it should.

Can you please share with us the screenshots of all plugins elements for our investigation?
It will help us to define the exact issue.

Looking to hear you soon.
Best regards,
Zeroqode Support Team

Here they are. Hopefully, this is enough to help.

There is a search input, a Search&AutoCorrect element, and a repeating group that gets its source changed to the “Search&AutoCorrect” matches when the search input is not empty.

Thanks for looking into this!

Adam

Hello, @atomparish
Thanks for the screenshots and link for the application.

We have checked the application and the plugin settings. Despite the correct settings of the plugin, the reason for the mentioned issue with Safari Browser and mobile devices was not defined.

As we can see from the page, where this plugin is placed, you have many searching flows, which could affect the plugin’s work and prevent matches from being displayed.

Allow us to propose you create another page in your application, using the Fuzzy Search & autocomplete plugin and check if it works correctly on another page.

We are sorry for this inconvenience.
Looking to hear you soon after checking this plugin on another page.

Best regards,
Zeroqode Support Team

Ok, thank you. I’ll give this a try.
