A discussion on setting up a framework to start and build your app strategically

Hey guys!

A lot of people have been reaching out to us for help because they’re struggling to find a process that helps them build their app in a strategic way (i.e. one that doesn’t leave you backtracking with development later on).

There’s a quote we really resonate with when it comes to this…

Michael Dell once said, “You don’t need to be a genius or a visionary, or even a college graduate for that matter, to be successful. You just need framework and a dream.”

For most of us, the “dream” is your app – it’s that “big idea” you’re planning or in the process of building.

The problem is, reaching that end goal is of course easier said than done, and most people struggle finding the framework they need to get there.

In our experience, there are a LOT of incredibly smart people here working on building useful software ideas.

The thing is, when you haven’t been taught or trained to think like a developer and grow a business around your app, it’s hard to find the right (i.e. most strategic and efficient) starting point.

Has anyone here felt like this before?

If you have big goals for your app, but aren’t following a specific framework to reach them, you can easily be left zigzagging toward the “finish line.”…Or, in other words, doing a ton of backtracking and reworking along the way.

One of the methods we use for ourselves and our clients is actually rooted in manufacturing. It might sound a little odd at first, but there’s a lot to be learned from how big manufacturing companies run efficient and successful businesses. And when it comes to developing software, the overlap is undeniable.

We just put together a blog post that really dives deep into how you can more efficiently and strategically develop your software.

If you want to put a framework in place to help you more quickly, efficiently, and smartly build your app, take a look.

Cheers,
Gaby
