I am trying to use a custom domain for my app. I am on the Starter plan and I have updated my A Records with my client’s web hosting company (HostGator). It is pointing to the correct DNS according ot my dns checker… but it hasn’t propagating in over 3 days. Host company is pointing the finger at Bubble. Anyone run into this?
I’ve seen others complaining about this recently. One workaround that could work is to change the domain to something else, and then directly change back to the right one. Bubble would then hopefully “see” the correct setup.
If that does not work, it’s time to contact Support.
Can you send pics of the DNS zone in HostGator?
If you check your DNS records (DNS Lookup Tool - DNS Tools - MxToolbox) are the records propagated? I personally use Cloudflare and its instantaneous
I added some extra servers that bubble recommended, but ultimately it landed on it being an issue on HostGator’s side. (fyi support has been consistently terrible at HostGator. ugh.)
I highly recommend switching your registar to Cloudflare
