Adding event to custom calendar

I am trying to pull data and post it as an event but I do not know how to do that.

Basically I want my custom calendar, to post events onto the calendar once they are recorded.

I followed this guide on making the custom calendar: [HOW-TO] Create a custom Calendar using repeating group

Any help would be amazing!
