This is expected, you can set these values in the Languages tab. Have you done so already?
I have set these up and its not reflecting on the app. I pushed an OTA, didnt do it, and also Pushed a new Build and it didnt do it. I dont know what i am doing wrong
Ah ok this is a bug then, thanks for flagging
I also have a bug when the user refuses the camera permission (all texts are translated in my settings)
This particular one can be solved in the language settings, and you can push an OTA for it, I believe.
nope, all translations are filled on the language settings
What i did was, erase and rewrite it, even if i wanted it to be the same sentence. Try that and see if it will work
Ah yes it worked thanks!
FYI we are addressing the bugginess with permissions text on the languages tab
Hello @nick.carroll do we have any update on this
Thank you so much
Fix went out yesterday!
Hello @nick.carroll,
I did submit another for for apple review and it was flagged again for the same issue. This time it says “This App is requesting access to your photo library for [insert use case]” on the live app, based on the screenshot from Apple Review team (Sunday 3pm 02/02/2025).
Steps I took:
Note: I am only using the Photo Library feature.
I noticed that the “MOBILE - Alert message on photo library permissions re-request” works and its as inputted.
But the one that is still flagged as an issue is “MOBILE - Photo library permissions alert, specific to your use app case”. This section has been inputted with the correct information on the language area, but its not reflecting on the Live Mobile App (both OTA and New Build are not fixing it).
Thanks in Advance
I have the exact same issue. I submitted a bug report on Friday, and they responded that they’re working on it.
However, I believe it’s related to a problem with the app’s text system:
→ The multilingual feature isn’t working at all, every text remains in English, even when the user’s language is set to something else.
I’m having the same issue.
Ok we actually fixed the permissions bug this time - you need to do a fresh build in order for it to take effect though. The multi-language support hasn’t been handled yet though
it seems that we can’t generate a new build there’s something going on
What are you seeing on your end thats preventing you from a new build?
