Bubble API Connector help with data connection

Hey!

I am building a bubble app that will be both native and a website as well. I am hoping bubble releases their native app deployment soon but in anticipation of that, I am making a website as well as the app at the same time. My question is, Can I use the bubble API connector to connect the data of my website with my mobile app as well. I want all the users and all the information to be the same for my users as its a marketplace, but I just want the actual design on the native app feel more native so Im designing it differently.

Just to clarify simply, I want my app and website to be connected so users can use both the app or the website and have all the data be the same. I want to know if I can use the bubble API connector for that or should I just build both the app and website on one app then just hide each one depending on screen size?

Thank you!

Hello, @bassim3qazi! How are you?
I don’t understand, aren’t you creating in Bubble? I ask because it can be responsive. Or is it your choice to create one page for the website and another for the app? In the case of the API, if you have an API communicating, you within the same project, you just point it to wherever you want, being the same thing, the same thing will be presented to both, since the origin is the same API, in my understanding, of course.

Hey Im good how are you?

I understand what you mean, Yeah I was worried that maybe having both the native app and the website on the same editor would cause lag or load speed problems. So I was asking is It better to create both native and the web app on one editor and just use the option “This page is a native app”. I thought maybe I would have to create two separate apps and link them to each other using the API connector.
