Bubble is an excellent tool but I have a hard time convincing clients to allow me build their app with Bubble.
What kind of process do you follow?
Let me share some more or less crazy, more or less ethical ideas:
Start building without telling them the underlying technology and later reveal how it works
You directly share with them the bubble pricing page and pitch thousands of clients and let them give you the go ahead
You share with them that you have a technology similar to wordpress (which admittedly is more popular) and you explain the extra benefits?
You build a prototype of the website using simple site builders (like wix.com) and then at a later milestone go and implement using bubble?
In fact do you have any pitching samples that have worked with clients in the past?
Do you have any other ideas on how to land clients on trusting Bubble?
Which kind of technical features or pricing features do you use to be convincing?
Hi Vincent
Thank you for the link
Yes it helped indeed
So one generic pitch for a potential client could be something like this: "You need your web application to be adaptable to changes as your business evolves, without huge extra costs. I get it! In fact your website is going be built build using https://bubble.io platform which solves exactly this issue and allows for fully custom design. No templates. Extra capabilities include: Google Analytics, Online Payments, Calendar, Audio Recorder, SMS sending, Notifications, Facebook Login, reCAPTCHA, slideshows and many more!"
What kind of improvements come to mind?
I don’t even bring it up with clients, unless they found me on here. It doesn’t matter in most cases, they aren’t paying for code, they’re paying for a product.
If bubble is the right tool for the job, I use it. If it isnt, I don’t.
