Clear the value of a searchbox

Hi everyone,

I’ve searched on all the topics of the Forum and still can’t find a solution for this.

I have a searchbox with geographic places as choices style. No default value, values are loaded with conditional states.

I want to have an “X” icon, that clears the value of the Searchbox. How can I do this ?

I’ve tried working with states, putting the searchbox in a group to reset this group but nothing I’ve tried works.

It is key to consider that resetting a container means restoring it to its initial state. It does not mean to empty it.

If logic is causing states to be set… then consider changing this logic to empty out your state or states of the searchbox container.
