Sorry to hassle you (still trying to get my head around how it works).
Where do I go from here?
The statement below tests for (1) Pending Approval.
Many thanks.
Sorry! Update the plugin and refresh the browser.
I’d updated to v 1.17.1 earlier and just updated to 1.17.2
I’ll give it a go now.
Thanks.
Looks like I have a colour for that event.
How do I add more events/colours.
Sorry if you’ve already explained.
Greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Scroll to the bottom of those settings.
I can set up examples tomorrow for each scenario
Yep. I just scrolled down and spotted them.
I’ll let you know how I get on.
It’s 2:35pm Tuesday here in New Zealand.
Hi Jared
Examples would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Mark.
I have updated the plugin (update again pls)
it should make more sense now, check it out!

In this simple example, I only have 1 kind of event saved to my DB in ‘events’ and that type is called ‘Booking’. When i make availabilities with the TimeSlot Generator, I give them the identifier of ‘Availability’.
Those get loaded to the calendar with their desired colors. These can come from an option set or an option saved to the users account, etc.
In the example i used conditionals to load the default colors for each event type and then have them linked to color pickers to update the events on the fly
Please note, if you leave any of the input fields empty, and you didn’t assign an identifier, the events will default to that color. The event comes to the color decider with an identifier off “” and that’s how the empty event type field will appear to the javascript engine running everything in the background. Just something to think about. I can change this in the future if it causes any issues.

Hi Jared
Many thanks. I’ll check it out later today.
Cheers, Mark.
this might be helpful. maybe not. the video included doesnt have words unfortunately.
are you a native english speaker? I plan to make a smalls series of spoken walkthroughs on setting up the different elements
Hi Jared
Yes English is my first language.
I’m an Australian citizen living in New Zealand.
And thanks for your support.
I’m starting work on switching from the Bubble Full Calendar to your plugin again from scratch.
They are both very different. For starters, the 1st Appearance setting in Bubble’s calendar is to select the “Type of events”. Yours starts with “Event titles” which seems strange because I expected to base the titles on the Type that the calendar is based on.
I’m guessing that you support multiple data sources for the calendar.
Anyhow, I’ll eventually get my mind around it.
Thanks, Mark.
Exactly right! Input data from multiple sources! I’ll put it all in the vids. Keep asking questions it’ll help me keep in mind what topics to hit!
If you have any special requests, lemme know!
Will do. Many thanks
I suspect that your multiple sources feature has solved a major problem that I have.
The reason is that in addition to having a Booking Calendar, my client has a Schedule.
The Booking Calendar is used for making appointments for various services of varying durations.
The schedule is where they schedule their availability.
If a client books a service they see who is available to provide the service.
So, a worker is only available if:
(a) They are qualified for that type of service.
(b) They are available for the selected day/time according to the Schedule.
(c) They haven’t already been booked for the selected day/time according to the Calendar.
Hi Jared
I’ve just bumped into a weird issue and I have no idea what’s causing the issue.
I’ve added all the required fields in your calendar and went to check out what your calendar was showing so far.
As background, I have the old calendar and your new calendar on the same page just so I can easily refer to the old settings (top screenshot).
But when I display the page it’s blank (middle screenshot).
If I delete your calendar the old calendar does show.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Mark.

Not sure why it causes issues, that’s not something I’ve tried. I’ll give it a good today and get back to you
[update] @marksrunge,
I think the issue has to do with the element not liking the library version i am using perhaps.
I’ll wait for you to sort it out.
So it seems like the issue has something to do with my calendar asking for plugins. it seems like what happens is the bubble fullcalendar library is called either before mine or after and knocks it out of place (idk) , and then my calendar is loaded which calls for plugins that arent provided by the bubble fullcalendar library. (i think)
do you need to have both calendars on one screen to continue your work?
Hi Jared
Thanks for the explanation.
No,I was just using it for convenience.
I’ll remove it and let you know how I get on.
Many thanks,
Mark.
Hi Jared
I should have posted my last update in this thread.
I’ll stick to this one in future regarding my specify issue.
Thanks, Mark.
