Create navigation points

Hi there

I want to create navigation points that show the current item within a repeating group. I want compare the item number from two different RG’s, if they match I would show the background of the point lighter with conditions.

Does this make sense? If so, can you help me with the correct condition? I got lost in it. A new perspective would be great. Thank you very much!

I could handle it with an custom state that I count up or down when I display the next/previous item in the repeating group, but I’m wondering if there’s an easier way that I can’t see
