Creating a multi-select that uses dynamic values

Hi

very excited to be using Bubble.io! I’m trying to create a 2 stage selection flow for users:

I have a data type that uses ‘category’ and then ‘subcategory’ fields

Flow:

  1. They choose something from selection box a (user can choose single or multiple options) from the category
  2. Based on what category/categories are selected from box a, box b shows subcategory options - they then choose several options from here

I’m not sure how to achieve my results - can anybody kindly help or provide an example/reference I can use please?

Hey,

not sure what you mean with all the boxes.

But are you looking for something like this?

First drop down let you choose a hobby.
Second drop down let you choose multiple users who have the select hobby from dropdown 1.

Maybe it helps.
