Data to send necessary?

I want to know if filling in the data to send while navigating to a different page is desirable. I am asking this because even without filling this, I am able to get the data I want on the next page. I use the settings in the groups, repeating groups. Does using the data to send feature help in any way such as speeding up the app, etc.?

You only need to ‘send data’ to a page if you have defined a content-type for that page, or if you want to use a path parameter for accessing data on the page.

So it’s mainly only used for loading dynamic content from the database onto pages set up to work with dynamic content (such as user profile pages, product pages, or any other page that can access dynamic data).
